@autistics #ActuallyAutistic if someone you barely knows asks you for resume advice, and you see something on their resume you personally have an ethical issue about, but you do not know their leanings, do you say something?
@filmfreak75 @autistics IMO it would depend on what kind of job they're trying to get. If it's a political job, a brand-related thing, or something else where particular leanings are crucial to the job, that would be expected. If it's not, then it might be best to make the resume more neutral and not reveal leanings.

@Nonya_Bidniss i guess my perspective is you do not know this person really, you are potentially giving them advice that could impact their potential hiring, and if their hiring goes sideways, you open yourself up to them holding you accountable

i was asked by a close friend what to do and i suggested being non-specific but as always he ignored my advice

in this dystopian world, i think he opened himself up to exposure unnecessarily
