Some people feel an urge to clean their house in spring. I don't. But I do feel an urge to wash fleece. I'm only about one quarter into processing a very large fleece that I washed at the end of last summer. So I took the small bit of Walliser Schwarznase lamb fleece that I got for free with my last big fleece purchase.

The label indicated it is for someone who likes a challenge. I think the challenge is the felted base of the locks. But at least now it's much cleaner. Not a crazy amount of vegetable matter in it. May work for making sock yarn.

@maru It's not the tips but the butt. If needed I'll use scissors. Been there before with Gotland fleece that had a felted undercoat. The locks are surprisingly long for a lamb, so I think I'll comb it.
