Voor *iedereen* met long covid: test alsjeblieft of je pots hebt. Dat kan thuis met een bloeddrukmeter van een paar tientjes in twintig minuten of korter. Ik dacht dat ik het niet had omdat ik het veel minder erg heb dan @cynthiastreef. @Dehuisgenoot dacht dat hij het niet had omdat hij het minder erg heeft dan ik. En als je niet weet dat je het hebt kan je er ook niets aan doen.

Finished the very orange Galice summer top. Well, yarn tails to weave in and blocking to do. Still quite a bit of this yarn left over. So I started a new project. A sort of small bolero made of crochet motifs. I think it will be nice on a summer dress. It's a beautiful Japanese pattern. I'm not sure if it will fit, but if needed I'll give it to someone else. Crochet never fails to point out that I cannot count, so I had to rip back a few times. Two motifs done, 14 to go.

Afgelopen woensdag bezocht ik Kamp Amersfoort. Ik schoot vol toen ik de pasfoto's van twee verre familieleden op het beeldscherm zag, op de plek waar ze ooit uitgehongerd en afgepeigerd rondliepen. Twee mannen die zich inzetten om 'het goede te doen' en dat met de dood hebben moeten bekopen. Zo onrechtvaardig.

Ik maakte daarom mijn eigen online monument voor ze. Hun verhalen mogen namelijk best meer verteld worden in mijn familie.

Every country absolutely needs to have a disaster management plan in place that does not include any action whatsoever from the United States.

This includes a communication plan where the US will be actively spreading misinformation and disinformation to make up for dear leaders incompetency on top of the known bad actors from mostly Russia whose agenda is to weaken the rest of the world.

Any country that does not have a plan that absolutely excludes the US is being negligent at this point.

Communication plans must also not rely on corporate media. They are not our allies in the fight for global health. They are extensions of the capitalist class and if the solution to keep us alive threatens Q4 earnings.... Guess what is more important?

This is not a drill. I literally just defended a dissertation on how the media killed people during COVID. I have receipts.
