Brockton man with a gun license went on a buying spree - and many of his weapons wound up at crime scenes, including a Theater District murder-suicide, feds say

A Brockton man was arrested today on a federal charge of making materially false statements for allegedly lying repeatedly about the more than two dozen guns he bought in 2020 and 2021, many of which wound up at or connected to crime scenes from Fall River to Boston - as ATF kept investigating the guns, he kept telling them he had sold them back to licensed gun dealers and so had no idea how they were winding up in the hands of criminals.
