I think the results of the Hungarian election may make putin even more convinced that illiberal/managed democracy doesn't work, but only totalitarian rule is stable enough, like in North Korea.
This is not limited to putin.
I may see other authoritarian leaders in hybrid regimes (Erdogan for example, but there are many others), who may choose to take that route.
