Apparently there's a group called Patriotic Millionaires whose purpose is to increase taxes on the rich. Here is their founder Erica Payne at a recent event of theirs, posted by Aaron Rupar on bsky
I also this morning listened to a podcast from Deep State Radio called "Need to Know" which is focused on national security and a significant point of discussion was one that I've been making for years, always with a sense of great frustration -- that is, national security certainly does include the military but should be as much focused on citizens as it is on repelling military threats. National security should mean heavily investing in each person's health and education and those should be free because the tax structure enables it. No one should starve or be homeless in a secure nation. Every person should be able to access whatever level of education or trade training they desire for a rewarding life of purpose. Every person should have no middleman siphoning off cash, standing between them and their healthcare system. A country that does this will find it has the vitality and optimism that underlie actual patriotism. https://thedsrnetwork.com/the-real-reason-america-is-in-such-danger-right-nowand-the-solution
The Real Reason America Is In Such Danger Right Now…and the Solution

The ceasefire with Iran and subsequent peace talks have taken a predictably disastrous turn. JD Vance has utterly failed as a negotiator. Trump has returned to his maximalist aggression and threatens

@Nonya_Bidniss I know it wasn't meant to be an exhaustive list of things missing from current NATSEC talks, but infrastructure needs to always be near the top instead of another cost center that politicians don't see themselves benefiting from.
@cR0w Absolutely, that is such a given in my mind, and includes such an extensive list of different types that I didn't even think to list it. There's an infrastructure for just about any aspect of society you can think of. I know many here are focused on cyber & comms. But of course its transportation, health, energy, food, water, I mean you name it.

@Nonya_Bidniss security in the context of the government is law enforcement and rule of law explicitly unless specifically naming another form of security, such as having a place to sleep, reliable access to clean water and food, medical care, dignity, transportation.

You know, unless it can’t be solved with guns it’s commie shit really.
