Inside Trump’s Effort to “Take Over” the Midterm Elections

When Trump tried to overturn the 2020 election, the institutional guardrails of American democracy held. But if faced with the same tests today, those barriers — and people who held the line — would largely be missing.

SCOTUS ruled (5-4 lmao) that you have no right to sue over intentional non-delivery of mail.

So if the Postmaster General ratfucks ballot delivery or collection from Dem rich neighborhoods, you are shit outta luck.

Bost v Illinois ruled that candidates have standing to sue over ballots postmarked by election day.

Watson v RNC is undecided on if ED-postmarked but late-arriving ballots are countable.

The last SCOTUS ruling on this was 4-4, so delaying ballot collection/delivery could work.

@Slyence definitely gotta vote in person this year.
