Current status: up, vaguely at, because I'm noise-sensitive when sleeping and there is no point in pretending¹ while the loud thunder rolls overhead and the rain hammers down. Thanks, Toronto storm, could you have started a few hours later?
¹ I tried and it didn't work very well.
TIL that my phone alarm will ring for literal minutes if it's not acknowledged. Also, I learned that if my phone is in the other room and I'm listening to music, the phone alarm music can blend into my music for some time without me really noticing.
Why did the phone alarm ring with me in the other room? Because I got up way earlier than it this morning, see above.
