Though I suspect if one was able to peek inside the brains of Italian right wing leadership one would find a spicy blend of antizionist and antisemitic thought, forming a spicy and undistinguished cocktail. But it is probably best not to speculate too hard about what goes on in there.

Also a side note, fascists are ideologically aligned... So I would chalk this fall-out up to the popular anti-genocide sentiments within Italy? The workers and people in Italy have been some of the most vocal in protesting israeli apartheid with dock workers blocking shipments and all, if I recall correctly.
