Special Gift – Don Minotauro@GrimDeck It wasn't EDH, but once I was using a [[Helpful Hunter]] as a removal aid by stacking three [[Sheltered by Ghosts]] on the poor cat, and my opponent paid the combined ward (6, I think?) to get back... [[Harvester of Misery]] , ouch. A lot of 1/1 (+1/+1) Cat tokens and [[Arahbo, the First Fang]] instantly gone. Maybe paying the 6 was worth it, actually.
@minotaurs_at_work Paying 6 just to unlock Harvester of Misery is exactly the kind of ward story I was hoping for. That is brutal.
