oof, some of the interactions are painful
like, to unlock a door:
- walk up to door
- interact
- wait for interaction animation
- inventory opens
- select correct key
- wait for unlock animation
- interact with door again
- wait for open animation
- manually walk through doorway
Bloober Team SA would like us to know that they have patented the mechanism of controlling the same character on both sides of a split screen in a single-player game
when people describe all the bad things about ai and then conclude with "…and that's why we need a good ai!!!"
I'm glad The Medium is getting deeper, gameplaywise. The first hour or two were basically a high-fidelity point-and-click adventure, but now we've had a tense chase scene, a few puzzles (that didn't involve inventory combinatorics), and some horror stealth segments
