I hope I am not being rude, but one thing that has always confused me about paddleboarding is, why not get a canoe or kayak instead?

It seems like it is a more unstable and less practical way to travel the water.

I mean no disrespect, but this has been bugging me for a long time, and this seemed to be a good time to ask.

@stoy Well, I suppose there are a couple of reason. But I guess the biggest is the ability to deflate it for easier transport... It's also probably cheaper, I'm guessing I haven't checked.
For me since I generally use it as a floating raft that I pull along when snorkling it feels more suitable, and it also feel easier to get out/in on the water, and you can stand on it. So there's a couple of reasons... 😁
