@murdoccc unfortunately I haven't (never been that good at chess) but it was something I recognised, having heard of it from my relatives in Malaysia (also in Singapore there is a thing called "void deck" which is an empty floor under a tall council housing building, people hang out there and play games like this, sometimes they gamble on the outcome)
