It seems that state-backed NEST (the UK's largest workplace pension scheme) is already over 18% invested in US private equity (at a time when many other investors are divesting such holdings) and looks to be expanding that exposure to 30% of its portfolio by 2030.

So while Rachel Reeves is claiming we all need to be investing more in UK shares, it turns out the Govt. backed pension provider is doing exactly the opposite.

Time to put your own house in order Rachel!

@floehopper

'fraud not... it was tier overall portfolio proportion - if it was less or null for the ethical then it would, of course, be larger for the 'normal' funds.... but not sure of NEST's ethical criteria
