Who are your favourite contemporary Indigenous / Native American / First Nations writers (including poets) based in Canada and the US?

I'm not looking for search engine results. I'm asking who /you/ read and enjoy. I'm especially interested in replies from Indigenous people.

Joy Harjo, Louise Erdritch and Julian Brave Noisecat are high on my list. Who's on yours?

Agree, Louise Erdrich, Joy Harjo, Robin Wall Kimmerer are all frequent re-reads lately for me too. Usually I read from the library to save money, but I bought my own copy of "Braiding Sweetgrass", I love it so much. N. Scott Momaday is also good, although it's been awhile since I last read him, (reminds me I need to revisit).
