@ceartas
That might be true, if the Democrats weren't completely complicit and working in lockstep with the Republicans for the last four decades.

Or hadn't you noticed?

Both parties are owned by the same oligarchs. Pretending that one is Good and the other is Evil just hands our future to the oligarchs again.

@Quasit @ceartas I’m a 74 y/o Atheist & Antifa as well, but I have zero fooking patience for misguided & misinformed peeps trying to attribute “equal” blame for our messes to Democrats. I simply block that level of ignorance, and move on without them. They are typically Jill Stein, Green Party supporters or worst of all, non-voters waiting for Christ to run for office while they whine, & piss, and moan from the cheap seats like the peanut gallery. Nope. Ain’t havin’ it.

@donhawkins @Quasit

Both parties suck, but in different ways. There are distinct differences. I’m not sure which is more contemptible: Republicans who cater to their base of Evangelical Christofascist racist gun worshippers? Or Democrats, who promise wonders and cucumbers, seldom follow through, and completely ignore their base. Still, I’m a persistent voter, unwilling to surrender the little power I have, and more often than not, voting for the person who will do us the least harm.
