To be clear, Magyar is also a fascist but a bit less mask-off about his corruption. It’s a (slight) improvement but not some progressive victory it’s touted to be.

Hard to say honestly. It feels about the same, Orban also started out as a pro-democracy and even somewhat liberal politician.
