On This Day 12th April 1992.

33 years since my first ever flight!
G-BJXJ, Boeing 737-204, Britannia Airlines, about to taxi out to Runway 24 at Manchester Airport, 12th April 1992.
Photo taken from seat 29 F on board G-BMRJ, Boeing 757-236, British Airways, as we pushed back prior to taxiing out to Runway 24 for departure to London Heathrow.
I wasn't actually planning on going anywhere that day, but there was nothing going on at the airport, and I had a few days off work, and I managed to get a dirt cheap seat on this flight after I was bored enough to ask!

@humanhorseshoes Almost as good as the time I ended up in Brussels...
After a heavy days AvGeeking at Schipol, I kept missing the train to Amsterdam Centraal because I was over-indulging in the bar - and when I did finally manage to peel myself away, I fell asleep on the train, and woke up as we pulled into Brussels...
But that was another trip, about 18 months later.
Luckily, I was travelling on an InterRail ticket...

@mancavgeek This year in January I got a cheap ticket out of Schiphol, did I get on the plane, no. Why? I have no idea. I watched it board and only after pushback remembered it was my flight
