I want to see more #webhosting companies officially supporting #nextcloud

Yeah! There were a few I found back when I was looking, but they're quite pricey and charged per seat - so we ended up self-hosting.
Would love to see Nextcloud normalized in the web-hosting world. I'm hoping to work to make that happen
I found many ways to make it work.
Like Softaculous, VPS, some web hosting companies have terminals.
There are also niche companies like librecloud.host
But if web companies would just support it for real, that would be so much better.

I have lots of VPSes from different Canadian providers, mostly in Vancouver right now.
I wanna give open source software like Nextcloud that lets people own where their data lives, into more hands. Right now I'm focusing on Garage for s3 service, but NextCloud is definitely on the list. I think it's a great opportunity - the market is clearly there - I wonder why more companies aren't following suit? Too comfortable, maybe?
If you're looking for S3, there's https://objectstore.ca . I haven't tried it, but it's new and canadian.
I think NextCloud can be a bit scary because it can definitely use a lot of resources if unrestricted.
And maybe it is quite complex as well, addons, updates, or even the error log, etc.

No idea about latencies or whether they sell in Canada at all, but we have some other companies over here as well, for decent prices.
