As usual I'll give this handy information out for free:

If you are a cis man (white and larger than the person you're talking to especially) - Resist any urge you may have to get up close and start a conversation by saying "have you been a good girl?" And then offering to "lift me up".

@neil you'd be surprised how some men lose the ability to be respectful the moment they realise *I'm* the person who paints the tentacle porn and I'm not a table helper.

It's not really even about the words said - it's the tone and vibe that's Yikes. I've had men say "I love your work" in a creepy af way

@neil @peribotsarah to be fair, that was the only dodgy interaction I had. I have more uncomfortable social interactions at general comic cons (and even that's not many!)
