@TimMaddog According to Wikipedia. Names given to Taiwan through the ages and by different regimes. Of course I may be wrong. Actually more likely than not.

@TimMaddog I'm in favour of Taiwan, because effectively it IS Taiwan. But organisationally and politically it's a (convenient) mess.
