I went to the Museo Nacional de Antropologia today. Learned a lot about classic cultures of the region and I think it is a good starting point for exploring pyramids in the next weeks. But it also reminded me that in school the only ancient history we study in Europe is that of Mesopotamia, some Egyptian, Greek and the Roman Empire. Almost as if the rest of the world was insignificant, which it is not.
