Anon OpinTribute bands are one step up from Stars In Their Eyes and seem to be largely made up of middle-aged men living out some sad rock-star fantasy they charge you at least £20 a pop to watch.

I love a cover band - put your own slant on songs, do a reggae version of Leonard Cohen or whatever but slavishly ripping off an established act can get in the fucking bin.
Not only are you preventing original music from reaching new audiences by your very existence but I'd much, much rather hear your own stuff. Even if it needs some work.
