Oof, one of the earliest memories I have of a song making me emotional is Closing Time by, I guess, Semisonic. I was young, maybe not able to drive yet, and teenage hormones were probably driving me temporarily insane, but notwithstanding any excuses, I can remember riding in the back of the family SUV, listening to this song on whatever mp3 player I had at the time and having VERY strong emotions. I may have recently gone through a breakup (I know teenage angst, cringe), and for whatever reason this song hit home.

Love this project. One of the first things I saw circulating when I rejoined and it immediately reminded me of what I loved about the fediverse.
