I've seen so many like me who are over the moon about sending people over the moon.

I've also seen people who are meh about it, and even a few who hate it.

This is fine, whatevs, I don't get it but I've loved space since I was a toddler.

What is not fine is lashing out at those of us who are enthused. For some of us, it's a symbol of hope, something good, in this dark world right now. You don't like it? Fine. You don't like that we like it? Find a cork and stuff it. Don't yuck our yum.

Let people enjoy things. (Unless they enjoy harming others, in which case Houston, we have a problem.)

It is fine if the Artemis project isn't your cup of tea. Seriously. I don't get it, but you do you.

Don't hate on those of us who love this tea. Mute.

{original post deleted because of potential doxing of myself lol}

idk what you're seeing or hearing, but that's unfortunate

NASA always had amazing photographs to use as test prints for a large scale printing system, even back in the 90s. I don't have the anaglyph one from Pathfinder anymore.

@catbailey I grabbed all the NatGeos that were about space when I was a kid. My favorite centerfold was the Mercury ... dashboard(?) as the pilot saw it, periscope and all.. Same with the Gemini. I guess Apollo and later were too big for a centerfold, though.

Unfortunately, rats got at everything.

I used to dream of space travel, too.

Still do.
