Ever since I got my first MacBook in 2004 I’ve been using iTunes/Apple Music to organize and play my large digital music collection (mostly consisting of ripped CDs).

About a week ago I decided to put said collection on a microSD card so I could try playing music in the kitchen from my wife’s old Surface Pro 6 that I installed #Debian on last year instead of my iPad Mini 6.

I’ve been using #StrawberryMusicPlayer and have been throughly enjoying it! Just got it installed on my desktop PC this morning.

#linux #debian #strawberrymusicplayer #music

@oldthink34 I'm not trying to pressure you into it, but you might have a better experience with touchscreen on gnome. It's not a must just might be worth looking into if the windows style desktop gets on your nerves.
@tylermultifarious Thanks for the suggestion! I originally had Ubuntu with Gnome installed on here but I was having issues when using the stylus. I may try Gnome again with Debian. Right now my main pain point of this setup is the onscreen keyboard doesn’t come up when I need to enter a password after it boots up so I have to attach the keyboard for that.
@oldthink34 I think Fedora has a Mobile iso that might be worth looming into a-swell. It's based on KDE's Mobile Desktop.
