Andrew ZonenbergHmm, seems I may not have lost chat history. I misunderstood which partitions i had on the second disk, it's mounted at /mnt/bulk and seems to not be affecting home.
I might just have to reinstall some software if I can't recover it.
Huh, I'm not even sure what was *on* that second disk. I commented out the mount in /etc/fstab and everything is coming up fine.
