@futtta I work at Exeter University - I'm a technician in Plant Science, so not the most undergrad facing, but I do some work with them. Exeter has a higher proportion of richer students than some universities, and accommodation can be expensive. The town itself is not especially ethnically diverse. But there is a thriving queer and neurodiverse student scene, life sciences is one of the more diverse faculties and there's a huge anti racist mobilisation against the far right going on in Exeter at the moment.
