11 April 1908 | A Czech Jew, Karel Ančerl, was born. A conductor and composer.

He was deported to #Auschwitz from Theresienstadt ghetto on 15 October 1944. His wife & son were murdered in gas chambers.

Karel was liberated in a sub-camp of Gross-Rosen.
