Help me find a new ereader! Can you recommend one?

I've have had a #Kobo Forma for five years - its the perfect #ereader.

Why I love it?

1) 8.0” display, 1440 × 1920 resolution

2) Works flawlessly with linux #Calibre - easily manage my books. Never connect to wifi as there is no need.

3) Can invert display to white txt/black background; at night my wife can sleep. I DO NOT want a color display.

4) battery life is incredible.

What is something similar I can buy today?

@david_kehm I'm a huge fan of my iPad. I know it's not an e-reader, but it saves me from having a separate device! I've used it since 2019 and it's still going strong.

iPad does a good job, for sure. But there is not much to compare when it comes to battery life. The Kobo Forma easily goes a month (sometimes two) before I need to charge it. Makes it ideal for travel but around the house, it is just one less thing I need to worry about charging.

@david_kehm Haha, I was just being a jerk. Yeah - I remember even when I had a Kindle it would last forever. I just got sick of lugging around 2 devices. :)
