Controlling/poisoning/disrupting the information is the first step of despotic regimes. As you can see, public information in Iran is carefully filtered to pass only narratives approved by the government.
@marcoantoniofaccini and yet it was the US that asked Planet Labs to hold their imagery of Iran, making it more difficult for third-parties like journalists to independently verify claims that either country makes.
I wonder how long it’ll be before Trump starts pushing for an Internet kill switch for the US.
