Neil from 54-40 is a really chill, down to Earth guy. He's longtime friends with several of my local music industry friends & lives in town, 15 minutes from me.

John Mann was one of the most amazing humans I've met & was an amazing, super humble musician too. I'd met him 6 different times at multiple local musician friends' homes & helped to film some of his last months, for his family/loved ones. He played his last intimate concert at one of my friend's homes 💗

I met Gordie twice. Once, while working as backup roadie tech on 3 of their tour stops on the island. He was another super humble, chill dude & he had so much to say, politically behind the scenes too. Gordie used to cry sometimes, over how Indigenous peoples are treated in Canada. He cared a lot about decolonization!
