@wobweger @georgetakei The US have never been a democracy. Democracy is government by the people for the people. The United States has always been government by the rich and powerful for the rich and powerful. That’s a plutocracy (or oligarchy) - and whenever Republicans have been at the helm in the last decades it has been an outright kakistocracy (government by the worst). #usa #democracy
