Back in the pre-pandemic days Comet Cafe used to have a vegan gyro that was dry and not very good. It’s part of why I stopped going there for a while. They’ve leveled up under their newer owners - had their vegan shawarma that’s made with mushrooms today and it was delicious!

@Lisaxq huh, I stopped going there for much the same reason the food was meh. Even though I knew a lot of people that worked there way back when. Maybe I’ll give it a try again.

@[email protected] yeah, definitely planning on going back to try out some of the other stuff on the menu. Went in there on a whim and glad I did!
