The Phoenix location finally opened — just in time for us to leave for Taiwan.

@evoterra They were good. I stopped at 22.

I will say this for all the Din Tai Fungs in AZ, CA, and WA… the pork inside isn’t quite as flavorful as in Taiwan.

Delicious, don’t get me wrong, but not quite as good.

I’ve eaten at a Bangkok location, but I was uneducated on the divinity that is soup dumplings at the time, so I had something else.

@evoterra I’m not typically someone who gushes over restaurants, but I’ve been going to DTF since there was only the original location in Taipei, and those soup dumplings are just really, really suited to my taste. Love ‘em.

I’d hate to think how many I could eat if they had an all-you-can-eat dumpling bar.
