Nowhere Girl

Having to explain to my own PCP that endocrinologists keep rejecting their referrals because they aren't being clear about what they want investigated.

All these endocrinologists see is "trans woman" and "hormones" and given the anti-trans climate in Texas, they run the other way.

sympathies! not quite the same, but did go 6 months of testing for thyroid - the stress alone! 🙄

@KathyBryson I took an internist as a PCP to try and sidestep the issue but she doesn't strike me as terribly concerned and like she would rather wash her hands of that entire aspect of me. 🫤

@KathyBryson I have raised several points of concern with regards to my kidney disease and hypertension that I think should be investigated but she insists it will all boil down to the hormonal issue anyway. So at this point, it's just not going to happen.
