Spent the day atop a ladder again, trying to get out of the RF hole we are in and get connected to #Meshtastic locally but even with this ridiculous setup the best I could do is a horribly degraded connection to a single node - not a single message made it out to LongFast. This was the last attempt with the rooftop. May try again with the node put on top of a tree but I am very close to giving up.

No, Meshcore won't solve this issue.
