I've been thinking of getting a good quality CD-player (=metal chassis). I would use it by my computer and feed my desktop DAC with it. So I looked at used CD-players, built like tanks and I contemplated the wave of new CD players from brands like #Fiio and #Shanling but then I realized... I have lots of CD players already. Every DVD/BD player and early game console is one, all I need is something with SPDIF or coax out and i'm good. Now heading down to the basement to look for one in storage...
