A masterpiece, Nixon in China by John Adams, with 3 excerpts opened the concert (with Renee Fleming and Thomas Hampson) and the new world symphony was closing the concert after the intermission.
An absolute triumph for the conductor and the orchestra. Well deserved (one of the best concert I ever attended)!!!!
