Nikolett TillGreek blind friends on Mastodon, what TTS do you use on a daily basis? I don't know the language myself but I'm very interested in your culture, folk songs, as well as Greek music from different genres. And I'd like to hear all the names and titles with good pronunciation. What do you recommend me?
@destranis I'm not greek myself and I don't speak the language but I'm only going to make an educated guess and probably say that ESpeak is probably most popular for that language. For a lot of langues Eloquence can't cut it and never will
@mckensie There's no Greek Eloquence and to be honest I'm happy about that 😂 There's no Eloquence for my native language, hungarian either. I'm using eSpeak now, I'm just wondering if it's correct.
@destranis ugh, I'm not an Eloquence user. I like ESpeak better than Eloquence, but I honestly like Dectalk better than both combined. Dectalk has more inflection anyways and I think it sounds better. I'm not realy an Eloquence fan
