Yesterday Young Grasshopper learned the basics of ionic and covalent compounds, how to spot them with the periodic table, and why acids are powerful. They heated copper sulfate to make water and sulfuric acid, redissolved it back to copper sulfate, and then turned that into copper carbonate for next week. Then to #OpenSCAD to design a servo arm, measuring the servo with calipers. Having learned file transfer with Signal, they'll send the final file to me and I'll print it for next week.
