@gerrymcgovern All I can think of in response is to encourage everyone to check out books from your local public library. Or buy from a bookstore. Even better, buy from an independently owned used bookstore if that’s possible in your area. Read a book with actual pages that won’t need recharging or be made obsolete.

@coleenwalter I always try and buy my books from kennys.ie (Ireland). A wonderful independent bookstore based in Galway. Been around for ages and ages and always excellent service and choice.

@gerrymcgovern We have Powell’s Books in the US that sells used and new books. Bookshop.org too. I am a strong supporter of our library system in the US due to its advocacy for literacy and equal access to books. They also function as community centers.
