@404mediaco Bizarre behaviour. The normal approach is simply to press the red button that disconnects the speaker's microphone when they go over time.
(And in fact when I had the red button I never felt the need to use it. Either the people going over time in public meetings were saying interesting things, in which case why not let them continue[#], or they were saying boring things, in which case asking them to shut up generally worked.)
([#] Except for quasi-judicial things like planning hearings where letting one side speak longer than the other risks legal challenges.)
