If you dislike LLMs, you essentially have three options regarding your career:

- let your employer force you into using LLMs against your liking, with all that it entails (brain rot, unlearning skills and critical thinking, possibly developing psychosis, definitely worsening the climate crisis)
- remain at your job, refusing/criticizing LLMs, and be stuck at your current salary because they'll never promote you … until they fire you
- resign and find something else

@davidculley How about learn how to use LLMs, identify strengths and weaknesses relevant for your role, and present your employer with an evidence based argument for why the LLM can't replace you? These things aren't magical, and for most jobs it's quite easy to show that AI doesn't outperform a capable employee.
