Anybody in the UK had cause to scrap a motorcycle recently, and might have recommendations for a company that could collect?

We've got a CG125-a-like that's beyond economical repair, kept for a few years as an insurance placeholder, but it's not worth keeping any longer and I'd rather have the garage space.

(If anybody wants it as a "project", you're welcome to it, but I really don't think it's worth the effort.)

@paul_edwin surely the norm is to just sling it in the nearest river?
@ytc1 I don't want it going in there, I use that river!
@paul_edwin it's the sort of place I'd always expected the Peg to turn up
@paul_edwin I'd volunteer to stuff it in the back of the Berlingo, but we aren't coming over in that 🙂
@ytc1 It'd fit in the back of our car, if I really needed to take it somewhere to get rid of it, but I'd rather just extract it from the garage and let somebody else deal with it from there
@ytc1 Yeah, I've asked there (twice, because the first one got lost somewhere).

@paul_edwin You could try contacting that Henry Cole off the TV

@staringatclouds It has no redeeming features, even when it was working. I can't imagine it would be worth anybody's time or money to do anything with it.
@paul_edwin Well it was just a thought
@paul_edwin
Someone would 100 percent still buy it for ultra cheap (or free) if you list. And someone would still ask you way too many questions and expect way too much for a free item.

@SecretAntelope Yeah, I think I'll drag it out of the garage, take a couple of photos, and stick it up somewhere.

"No timewasters", etc.
