Some questions about translating 'join':
- is it meant 'to join' as in how to join codeberg or is it a direct invitation as please join codeberg ?
- in the latter case, and for other part of the text, would you use the direct form or the polite form (using 'tu' or 'vous' in French, Du or Ihr in German). I would follow framasoft example and use 'vous'.
@jcolomb I'd lean towards "invitation"
@jcolomb plural (polite) is what I use in Greek
@n0toose checking again framasoft, they use vous but it can be read as plural.
No problem in french, but in german, the polite form and the plural form are different...
But I will leave the german version to the many native speakers :)
