Linux Support Request Tracking | Linux Audio Development (LAD)

LAD aims to make Linux more attractive as a platform for computer-based music production.

Which vendors from the "to be contacted" section should I contact next?
@linuxaudiodevelopment Arturia! They have keyboard hardware that can control the synth. If we can have that, it will be a game changer.
@visionalfreeman I contacted them a couple of times already and they (unfortunately) have only responded generically so far. I will continue to ask them for support, though.
@linuxaudiodevelopment Reason Studios (/LANDR now i guess) are not on the list, but maybe they should be? :)
@ahihi I just added and contacted them in one go!
@linuxaudiodevelopment I’ve had Neural DSP mentioned the most, when people have asked me about Yabridge, so it seems there could be a demand.
@mosgaard Alright, I will contact them today! 😎
@linuxaudiodevelopment I would like to use AnalogObsession plugins in my DAW without the emulation.
@nilace I added them to the list and will contact them asap! 🤞

@linuxaudiodevelopment As far as I know, he is a single developer (I believe). His plugins are superb but Windows/Mac.

I contacted him years ago but I didn't feel he had interest (which I understand).

@nilace Maybe we'll have better luck this time. Times have changed. 🌟🤞✨
@linuxaudiodevelopment Universal Audio, Blue Cat, IK Multimedia - because they provide some of the absolute best amp plugins for guitar, which is an area where Linux is woefully insufficiently covered. For me, switching to Linux isn't going to happen until this area is far better covered.
@jwcph OK, thank you. I wrote to Blue Cat and will follow up the others soon anyway. 🤞
