I suppose I could teach classes on this
@paninid @shom I am legit getting help from a career coach for it!

@GinevraCat @paninid just make sure you start and end the day with the corporate prayer

Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our slacking as we forgive those who skim profits from our labor
In the name of the Board, the CEO, and the Holy Stock Price
Amen

@shom @paninid I think I'm failing though. I was the only person with my camera on in a recent union webinar!
@GinevraCat always a bit tricky, if you're interested I can share my thoughts on corporate camera etiquette.
@shom Yes please. I felt sorry for the presenters. They put in a lot of effort to speak to blank screens!

@GinevraCat that was very kind and considerate of you.

Generally, the etiquette boils down to the number of participants, the organizational context, your role in the meeting, and the perception you want to create. If you are presenting regardless of the context, I recommend camera on. These scenarios are when you're not presenting.

Sorry for the edits, could not get it to render properly so I put it in a page over here.

Of course, there are many permutations possible. Let me know if anything specifically jumps out at you.

@GinevraCat oh no, markdown tables don't work. Let me see if I can figure out a better way of representing this.
@shom No stress. It looks fine to me. I'm reading it through now.
