#Microsoft locks account that #VeraCrypt maintainer uses to sign #Windows bootloaders with no explanation or route for appeal. If they don't fix this, in a few months every Windows computer that uses VeraCrypt whole-disk encryption will stop being able to boot and all the data on it that isn't backed up elsewhere will be lost. 🤦
If this doesn't convince you big tech has too much control, I don't know what will.

@jik @zackwhittaker this happened to my company too, it's a glitch and I know how to fix it. I replied to Joseph cox's post about this.

The way to make the partner center *start the vetting process over again* is to:

EDIT the primary contact info. You don't even have to make any changes, just add and delete an extra space or something, but re-save it. This kicks off vetting again and prompts for the Verifiable Credentials (VC).

Without the above step, there was NO way to supply the credential and re-vet.

@ferrix @zackwhittaker You might want to reach out directly to the VeraCrypt maintainer (and apparently the maintainers of the Wireguard VPN, since it happened to them too) and send them this suggestion directly!
