So I am troubled by the insidious creep of AI into everything, and this evening I pressed some keys while in the #kagi search window and was promptly given an "assistant overview" of my search term. Since I though I had disabled all AI in my #kagi settings, I was a bit surprised. Anyway, it turns out the use of AI has expanded, and no, you can't turn it off in the settings. When I raised this with kagi support, I was pointed at a third party repository with CSS to hide the AI elements. I replied that I thought it inappropriate to use a third party configuration to turn off (or rather hide) something I don't want. Kagi should put an "OFF switch" in the settings. I have put the CSS in my config, but I am reconsidering my subscription to Kagi. Any other (non AI) search options out there?
